This firework display contest has been created in 1966 by Monaco’s Town-Hall on the occasion of the centenary celebrations for the neighbourhood of Monte-Carlo. During four summer evenings, rhythms and melodies are synchronized with firework displays, transforming the Principality into a place of real enchantment.
In 2012, France, Czech Republic, Austria and England will compete by lighting up the sky over Monaco with their pyromelodic performances.
Comprised of members of the Communal Council and representatives of the world of the arts and civil society, the Jury is presided by the Mayor or one of his Assistants. Spectators can also participate in the Jury by voting online, and the Prize awarded by the Public will be attributed to the performance which has won the most votes.
Chef Joël Garault and his team at the Vistamar in the Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo and the restaurant Côté Jardin at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo invite you to watch these magnificent 2012 pyromelodic shows over Port Hercule from a front-row seat while relishing a seasonal menu.
